MKSSS’s Cummins College of Engineering for Women, established in 1991 with support from the Cummins Diesel (India) Foundation, is India’s first all-women engineering college. It operates under the Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS), founded in 1896 by ‘Bharat Ratna’ recipient Maharshi Karve, with the mission of empowering women through education.
